We called Sims originally for a quote on a Tesla charger install and ended up using them, which was the best decision... ever! Darrell is excellent with his communication, making the scheduling process so easy. They came on time as scheduled, I was shocked at how well they cleaned up after the fact as well (looked like no one was ever there.) We then had issues connecting the charger to the Tesla app (unrelated to Sims) and Darrell even came on Sunday only 20 mins after I texted him asking for help. This is such a nice guy! I really like him! We had a power outage in our apartment unit for about a day and we didn't... know what to do. The maintenance guy said our breakers were good and we should call ComEd or an electrician. ComEd said our meter was good, so we should call an electrician. I'm so happy I called Sims & Sons. Sims & Sons said it was going to be $400 for an emergency visit, but told me to send pictures of our breaker and then figured out immediately that we didn't even actually to pay an electrician to come and it was just our breaker in the meter room that needed a switch flipped. To be honest, I don't know much about anything when it comes to electrical stuff, but he explained everything really nice and was super patient even when I was having trouble answering some questions and when both the maintenance guy nor property manager weren't answering. I wish he was my uncle!!! I hope he's very happy! Yeah!!!!read more
